MY MARILYN JEWELS
A sparkling little glimpse inside My Marilyn Jewels… and I do mean little, because this candid photograph shows mainly one particularly DIVOON haul, mixed with a few pieces I already owned, from My much larger and ever-growing collection of Marilyn and Golden Age Hollywood jewelry reproductions!
And somehow this completely candid photograph of all that sparkle spread out together ended up looking like a jewelry fashion editorial… which, naturally, I LOVE!
These particular treasures come from Marilyn Monroe Jewelry, Marilyn Monroe’s very own jewelry collection, released for a limited time some years ago.
I originally bought some of My pieces when Marilyn Monroe Jewelry was still available, and My collection has continued to grow long after the original collection disappeared.
And THIS is where My Marilyn jewel collecting gets particularly DIVOON…
I now acquire pieces directly from the jewelry designer who created them for Marilyn Monroe Jewelry!
Some are extra pieces of the very designs that were selected and became part of the released collection, while others are original prototypes, including incredibly special designs that were created for Marilyn Monroe Jewelry but never ultimately chosen for the released collection at all!
So tucked among My sparkling Marilyn treasures are jewels the public actually knew from Marilyn Monroe Jewelry… and prototypes of Marilyn designs that never made it into the collection!
Rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings… emerald greens, ruby reds, pinks, pearls, crystals and glorious flashes of gold and silver. That fabulous gold Art Deco-style bracelet is one of My personal favorites!
But Marilyn Monroe Jewelry is only one sparkling segment of My Marilyn Jewels.
I also collect Marilyn jewelry from other collections and designers, including Hollywood Originals and The Hollywood Collection, along with treasures I’m now tracking down from previous Marilyn collections that I didn’t have the chance to acquire when they were originally released.
And rather DIVOONly, I’m also the Brand Ambassador for the Hollywood Originals Marilyn Monroe Jewelry Collection! In fact, My Golden Age Hollywood jewel obsession extends even further: I’m also the Brand Ambassador for their Jean Harlow Collection.
I absolutely adore adorning Myself in My Marilyn Jewels, wearing them glamorously, dripping Myself in sparkle and choosing just the perfect accoutrements to complete a starlet-stunning look. The pleasure of collecting them is rivaled only by the pleasure of wearing them!
And naturally, I love all the delicious history surrounding them too.
I collect original Marilyn Monroe Jewelry advertisements and collection imagery from when the collection was available, along with original pink boxes, Marilyn-branded pouches, cards and presentation materials. I love having the jewels, prototypes, unreleased designs, packaging and original glamorous imagery all together as part of My ever-growing Marilyn collection.
