I absolutely LOVEDLOVEDLOVED The Great Gatsby. I don’t see how anyone who has read the book couldn’t help but LOVE it. I ADORE Baz Luhrmann’s vision of THE GREAT GATSBY.. it is an atmospheric glittering delight. In MY opinion, if Fitzgerald were alive today HE would LOVE it, beyond words.

PERSONALLY I think Leo is PERFECTION, he is a very multi-dimensional Gatsby. The visual extravagance of Luhrmann in 3-D was nothing short of breathtaking, the entire movie envelopes & surrounds you, pulling you into it.. I’ve seen it in 3-D twice and I’ll be going to see it for a third time very soon! you are a FOOL if you don’t go see it.

Scott Fitzgerald, so you can well imagine how SO BEYOND excited I am to see Baz Lurhmann’s The Great Gatsby tomorrow! The visual extravagance of Lurhmann will be well worth seeing in 3-D and I am extremely curious to see how he will interpret GATSBY.

I am in the midst of composing My ensemble for My GREAT GATSBY PARTY tomorrow. I will be wearing the necklace above, which is from the personal jewelry collection of famous silverscreen movie star LANA TURNER, crowning My Platinum Blonde Tresses! I recently purchased this gorgeous necklace from the estate of LANA TURNER, directly from Lana’s own daughter, Cheryl Crane.

Lana was known for wearing jewels in her hair, and specifically wore this particular piece as a hair jewel, so of COURSE this necklace was especially precious and I HAD to have it! you can actually read the details about this in the letter to Me from Cheryl Crane!

HAPPY PRINCESSMAS PRELIMINARY DAY!

As you already know if you follow Me on TWITTER, I have been out and about ALL WEEK shopping & indulging in Holiday Festivity! I finally decide I would stay home for a day, but then a SHOPPING EMERGENCY arose, and I went out shopping yet again.. LOL.

I went to the Swarovski Boutique twice more before they finally had the special Angel ornament in the boutique which I wanted. Alas it was THE ONLY ONE available, and it is now in MY possession.  I’ll post a photo of it later this week, it’s absolutely EXQUISITE!!

I also went to nearly every Forever21 in the area, looking for items from the new HELLO KITTY FOREVER Capsule Collection which is a collaboration between F21 and Sanrio/Hello Kitty.

An acquaintance of Mine, ONCH (of Paris Hilton’s My New BFF), who is a cutting edge jewelry designer, collaborated as the designer for the JEWELRY pieces in this collection. His work is hugely famous, popular among celebrities and often seen on the Red Carpet, so naturally it was to be expected that these items would sell out quickly.

However, one of the items I wanted (the Hello Kitty Bracelet) sold out online during the PRE-LAUNCH and at the official Launch party within 2 HOURS!! I planned to go to F21 the next day for the official launch so I did not buy it during the Pre-Launch. OMG. I was so distraught as they were not available online the day of the collections launch OR in any stores!

I went out 2 days in a row looking for the bracelet, when finally I spotted ONE last bracelet on the arm of a mannequin. you can bet I would not leave the store without it! This was very likely THE very last available HK bracelet from this collection in the ENTIRE WORLD, and it is now MINE!!

Isn’t it TOTALLY ADORABLE??! I love how it compliments one of My favourite Betsey Johnson handbags in the first photo, and notice My frosty pastel PINK Princessmas Tree in the second! (I KNOW you are just DYING over this GLIMPSE at MY PERFECTLY pink pretty hand and dainty fingers!) So yes, I totally ROCK. I am THE SHOPPING VIXEN.

All in all it was a VERY successful shopping day, as I came home with PRETTY PACKAGES & SHOPPING BAGS GALORE!! I even scored THE last Stroke of Midnight compact mirror from the new Sephora/Disney CINDERELLA Collection - sold out in stores & on Sephora.com for WEEKS now! OMG I am SO in love with it.

I have SO MANY THINGS to tell you about, but you will have to wait for now because I am busy at this moment shopping online. Marilyn Monroe Vigil – ‘LIFE OF AN ICON’

I will be lighting candles tonight in memory of THE Luminescent Marilyn Monroe, I will keep these candles lit in a vigil from 12 midnight PST to 4 a.m, during Marilyn’s final hours. If you remember, I had My very first LIVE Marilyn Vigil on Twitter last year, this years vigil commemorates the 50th anniversary since Marilyn’s death. This is a VERY big deal. They are holding a huge memorial in Hollywood, which usually ends up being a total circus, so I decided to host a classy and tasteful online Marilynette memorial vigil event. This year I will be holding the vigil in My Cash Cow FINANCIAL FETISH Club with a few of My close friends.
